No, you do not need to be a member of a gym. When we create your customized workout plan, we’ll design it around where you’ll be working out and the specific equipment you have access to. If you want to work out at a regular gym, we’ll design it that way. If you’d rather work out at home, we’ll put together a workout that can be done there.

Absolutely. Our online personal training program is suitable for all levels of experience – from complete beginners all the way up to more advanced lifters. After signing up and filling out your initial questionnaire, your trainer will use that information to put together a workout plan that is appropriate for you. If you’re a beginner, we’re going to help you get started with a bang and see fast results. And if you’re an advanced lifter, we’ll help you get to the next level. We’ve worked with lots of people who are new to exercise and healthy eating. Remember, we were all beginners at some point. Each program is specifically tailored to your level of exercise experience.

We work with clients of all ages, and have helped people well into their 40’s and 50’s – some who have never worked out before. You are never “too old” to get in shape. It is true that fat loss can be more difficult as you age, but that’s why you must exercise and eat differently than when you were in your 20’s. Your trainer will work with you to make sure that your plan is designed to work specifically for those your age. That depends on your exercise experience. We personalize your program to best match your experience level. If you are a beginner, or you haven’t worked out in years, your workouts will reflect that. If you already exercise regularly but are looking to see faster and better results, your workouts will be designed to help you break through any plateau that you may be experiencing.
That depends on your specific goals and your availability to work out. We understand that life can be busy, so we match your workouts to your schedule. In general, most of our clients enjoy workouts that are 30-60 minutes in length, 3-5 days per week. But again, this depends on your current fitness level, goals and schedule.
With online coaching, we do this in two ways. First, our custom mobile app has 3D exercise demonstrations of every exercise in the program. Second, we can do form check videos of all your main exercises. If you ever have a question regarding how to do an exercise, you simply record a short video of you performing the exercise and your coach will provide you with feedback on what you should do improve. We know how important proper form is and we’ll make sure you always know exactly what to do and how to do it.
Yes — your trainer is absolutely a real person — and you’ll get to know them very well. You will check in with them every week on Saturday or Sunday, depending on which works best for your schedule. You will talk about your plan, any struggles you may be experiencing, and how things are going. They will then make any adjustments needed to keep you on track for the week ahead.
Having frequent contact with your coach is important, both to keep you accountable and to ask any questions that may come up. To ensure you are making consistent progress each week, your coach will regularly check in with you once per week on Saturday or Sunday, depending on which works better for your schedule. You will send a weekly update form via email and we’ll do a detailed review of how everything went with your workouts and diet. Your coach will then reply with specific recommendations for the week ahead, and make modifications to your plan where appropriate. Many of our clients also choose to do a monthly “coaching call” where you will get one-on-one access to your coach in real-time via phone or Skype! If you need anything during the week, your coach is always just a text message, Facebook Message, or email away.
When you message your trainer, they will get back to you as soon as possible. We have a lot of clients, but this is our full time job. During business hours, it will likely be within a couple hours. Even on weekends and holidays, you should never expect to wait more than 24 hours for a response. When we say you have truly unlimited access, we mean it.
Each of our training programs is entirely customized for each of our clients. We are not in the business of offering cookie-cutter, one-size-fits-all workouts or nutrition plans. After you sign up, you’ll fill out a detailed questionnaire about your fitness goals, level of experience, workout and dietary preferences, physical limitations (if any), and more. Your trainer will then use this information to put together a workout and nutrition plan that’s perfectly tailored for you.

We don’t believe in meal plans that tell you exactly what to eat, minute-by-minute. Our clients have found that to be very unsustainable and unenjoyable. Instead, we help you build good habits that will make “healthy eating” easier and more enjoyable. You will get a list of proteins, carbs, and healthy fats, and we also help with how many calories to eat each day. You will also know which foods are best for you, when to eat those foods, and how much to eat of them. Your coach will give you sample plans that show you exactly what a typical day and week should look like, but the last thing we want is for you to feel restricted. That’s why we build your plan around your preferences, schedule, and taste buds.
Most people have the misconception that healthy eating is expensive. When our clients get into their plan, almost all of them quickly realize that they actually spend less on food than they did before. Your coach will provide supplement recommendations, but they are always optional and not required to see results.
Restrictive diets generally fail. No one wants to eat foods they hate everyday, while never getting to enjoy the foods they love. This is why we get to know your favorite foods and do our best to include them in your plan, without negatively impacting your results. We’re not saying you can eat pizza and ice cream every day, but it is definitely possible to enjoy your favorite foods and still be in great shape. Let us show you how!
Yes, in moderation. We don’t believe in restrictive diets and we want your plan to be flexible enough to allow you to still enjoy your social life. Daily consumption of alcohol will undoubtably slow your progress, but many of our clients enjoy a few cocktails per week without any problems.
Online coaching is a virtual service that is accessible 24/7 from any desktop or mobile device. Nothing will be sent in the mail. We use a custom mobile app, as well as email/phone/Skype to communicate with our clients. When you sign up, you will choose which means of communication you prefer, and we will talk about how often you would like to communicate with your trainer (daily, weekly, monthly, etc.)
